Noctua NF-S12A PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (120mm, Black)

Title says it all. This is great Noctua quality as expected. Fan is quiet and powerful. I’m sure it is equivalent to the tan and brown fans in performance, and why wouldn’t it? Noctua makes great fans!

Great fan

Bought this as an exhaust fan because I read thats the best application for this fan. Even above 1000 rpm I cant even tell its on. Yet it still moves a ton of air compared to most 120mm fans.

Whomever shipped the items took the yellow, white, red and black rubber pieces out of one the fans I received. They also put 2 of the original brown corner pieces in the box and sent it as new. The fans work fine as I would expect from Noctua fans. I have used the older Noctua fans for my last 2 builds. They have always been very quiet and I will continue to use Noctua in the future.

These are extremely quiet fans while still moving a ton of air, it’s amazing actually. Now that they are available in black it was a no brainer for me. Some might say that the fact they don’t offer rgb is a downside but I’m perfectly fine with the black so much better than the poop brown they used to only offer
