> 3 dayI am giving the product 5 stars but not the customer experience. I received this, bought brand new, and gave as a gift. I was extremely embarrassed when the recipient opened the box and parts were free floating in the box. Two of the plastic bags parts were supposed to be in were ripped open. There was heat compound all over the metal plate. This was an obvious return no one bothered to check. While the part itself is great it took an additional 30 minutes to clean it and make sure all parts were in the box. Installation was fairly simple. I was impressed with that. My partial refund has yet to be credited to my account 24 hours later but that is an amazi problem, not a product problem.

> 3 dayI needed a high quality cooler that would fit into a 4U rackmount server case. This one was perfect when configured in the low profile fan setup. Very high quality as you would expect from Noctua.

Greater than one weekUsing this on an ASUS Z170i mini itx board with (2) 16GB Trident Z DDR-3000 ram. I did not know for sure if the fan would fit on the bottom of the heatsink as I had it installed on top originally, so I unclipped it and slid it in on the bottom and it fit. I am using a EVGA GTX 1070 ACX3.0 and the heatsink fins on the Noctua NH-C14S are the same height as the video card now. I have the fan blowing downwards so it cools the components on the motherboard as well. I did loose a little performance by having the fan pull air through the heatsink vents instead of push, but not much. I am running a i7-6700K at 4.68Ghz with voltage at 1.31. Right now the idle temp is 23 Celsius and ambient temp in house is 67 Fahrenheit (19.44 Celsius). Fan is super silent and super high quality. Under load (Cinebench CPU test) I am at around 73 Celsius. If you are looking for the best quality unit...this is it.

> 3 dayThis is a FANtastic product from a FANtastic company. Everything from the motherboard mounts to all the little things included such as a extender for the fan power and a tube of thermal paste. I had a couple of questions and their Customer support staff is AWESOME!

> 3 dayWorks well in a 4U case (fan under). Looks nice, does a decent job cooling, not as good as my bigger DH, but is more then adequate for cpus pushing around 115W TDP.

> 3 dayIm so impressed with this fan. I decided to build a gaming PC but wanted it small, so went with the Thermaltake Core V1 case and a mini ITX Z97 board with i5-4690K so I could overclock. I was going to do a self contained water cooler but all the ones around $100 had so so reviews, with most people replacing the fan on the radiator with a Noctua one anyway. So thought Id take a chance and just go air cooling. The fan in the photo looks small but its still huge. Fits fine in my case with the fan under the radiator vs on top like in the photos (it supports both methods as well as adding a second fan). I overclocked my system from 3.5Ghz to 4.2Ghz and on idle Im running around 26-29 degrees C and when using 100% under Prime95 for stress testing I never go over 59. Highest Ive ever seen it hit was 61. Even when on full at 59 degrees the fan is insanely quiet, to the point that I had to turn the TV right off to try and hear it. With the system on the floor you cant hear it at all. Very impressed and highly recommended. Photo shows my rig with it installed to show the size.
