Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 chromax.Black, Low-Profile CPU Cooler for AMD AM4 (Black)

Really great product. Needed a cooler for my Ryzen processor in my M-ITX build. Extremely tight case (Silverstone SG13) so I needed something with low clearance. This fit the bill and is nearly silent to boot. Will always recommend Noctua products.

It was easy to install and works like a charm. I have never been disappointed with noctua.

This is my first noctua product and I’m very impressed with build quality and packaging. Used this on b550i rig strix mobo in a nr200p case

even a 6 core CPU will struggle with this air cooler. My 3600X would frequently overheat with this cooler causing my PC to randomly crash when doing anything other than web browsing or watching movies.

Incredible quality and precise machining on the parts. Cools as 5600x well but may need to undervolt the CPU for serious gaming. Be very careful when you remove it from the socket. It can bond with a tight seal on the socket. Do not pull it straight up and out- use a slow gradual twisting or, like me, you will pull the CPU out of the socket with the heatsink and bend the corner pins on the processer.

Really good for sff build it’s keeps the temps ok on my no GPU build - 40 on standard use 55-60 while gaming Valorant and simple games. Very sleek very premium quality feel.

Love how it looks, but unfortunately my Silverstone Sugo SG13 case doesnt show the cooler. My 3700x idles at about 40°C. Installation was easy and I liked how much thermal paste was included - should be plenty for multiple installs. Only really audible at full power as set in my UEFI, otherwise I cant hear it over normal background noise.

This thing sits lower than my ram it’s amazing! Thermals are great and it allowed me to get that clearance I needed to vertically mount my gpu in my ITX case! Super quiet as well easy to install! Worth every penny! (UPDATE 1 MONTH LATER) suddenly got frame rate drops and couldnt understand why so I ran a test and found out my cpu fan wasnt spinning. Low noise adapter that the cooler came with went out but I just used an extender my case manufacturer provided so were all set. Honestly sounds the same in volume still a 5 star for me.

Difficult cooler to use, do not use the paste they send.
