> 3 dayGreat cooler used for a micro PC build. Fan is so quiet I had to check for air flow to make sure it was running! I will definitely be buying more Noctua fans and coolers in the future. Awesome equipment Noctua!

> 3 dayeven a 6 core CPU will struggle with this air cooler. My 3600X would frequently overheat with this cooler causing my PC to randomly crash when doing anything other than web browsing or watching movies.

> 3 dayI was setting up an ITX system as a secondary in one of my phanteks computer cases, and needed a cooler that could fit in a tight space and still provide adequate cooling for the ITX processor. Most 120mm AIOs didnt have the tube length I needed, tower coolers were too tall, and a lot of low profile coolers conflicted with the RAM slots.

> 3 dayOn normal day to day use and Gaming, this thing will handle a 5900x just fine. On windows 10 I have power save mode on. This means that all my clock speeds are at 2.1ghz all the time (unless CPU gets a huge work load, then clock speeds will adjust to something higher) even when playing on games.

> 3 dayI got this mounted and started benchmarking but exchanged it for a low profile AIO.

> 3 dayI use this in my Ncase M1 (glass panels) on my AMD Ryzen 7 3800X. Averages around 43 C and tops out at 70C. This is very impressive considering it is currently 90+F weather and inside my house is at an average temp of 85F

> 3 dayThis is not quiet by any means. Yes its silent at 20%, but at 40-50% its already very loud, and at full speed.. lets say its worse. In addition, its very hard to install, because the cooler and the backplate have to be kept together when you put the screws, which go from the bottom up. You cant install one first and then the other. So I ended up making a sandwich with the cooler upside down, then the motherboard on top of it (fortunately its a mini itx), then the backplate, and with luck I got the screws in. Cooling is pretty bad too, at 50% fan speed and full load for a 65W cpu I have 70-71C, which is far more than I ever had with air cooling, but sure, its well within range of operating temperature.

> 3 dayExcellent cooler. Im so glad I purchased this. I thought I was going to need to buy some thermal paste but noctua actually included a LARGE tube of thermal paste. Excellent!!! Easy installation, cool temps, and the black looks nice!

18-12-2024Not the easyest to install, but if you have a low heat CPU and not much space for coolers, this is a great one. If you add the foam thing noctua sells, its great
