Yes it is big, but easy to install and the fans are SILENT! Easy install without doing a lot of jumping jacks. Ive built computers for myself for over 40 years. Yes, its probably easier for me but this one is no big deal for a beginner. Dont touch the top of the cpu or the bottom of the cooler. Finger oils are bad. You get 20 times the amount of thermal compound you need so just use what they say. With the skins off and my ear 2 inches away it is very hard to hear the fans. Not doing much now and its 28 C (82 F). With the stock AMD cooler it was almost double.

I got this Noctua cpu cooler to replace a single fan AIO. The single fan AIO cooler on an ITX build has the temperatures around 55-60 degrees on idle. After hearing a lot of good things about Noctua coolers, I decided to get this. Installation is easy compared to AIOs. I love that the fans are tooless for maintenance cleaning and installation. I have less cable to deal with because there is no RGB light on this, but my case have enough lights to showcase whats inside. Using the Noctua thermal paste, I was able to lower the temperatures to 38-45 degrees on idle. Thats a good temperature on an ITX build on a hot summer day. When playing video games, the cpu temps shoot up to 70 degrees average, and up to 75 on a really hot day. Im curently using Ryzen 9 3900X, which runs hotter than my previous Ryzen 7 2700X.

Piazzato su una MSI MAG B650M MORTAR WIFI Micro ATX coricata (orizzontale) dentro quel cubetto del thermaltake core v21, raffresca senza problemi un Ryzen 9 7950X che arriva tranquillamente a 5,8 MHz e segna punteggi Aida e Cinebench in linea con quelli dei test online. Qualche ventola qua e la per aiutarlo a smaltire.

So its easy to install that it took me two hours to figure out that its forreal THAT EASY. I remember struggling when i had a hyper 212 evo and this is almost like a plug and play experience haha. Its an extremely quiet cooler on max fan speed. I was shook to say the least. And the my temps were pretty solid in my opinion running a i7-8700k at 4.6ghz at an average of 55-65C. Hope you choose this cooler, it is definitely worth it if you care about temp, noise level, and easy installation.

Fit, finish, and performance is top notch. Its a large cooling kit but it fit in my mid tower case no problem.

a bien baissé la temperature de mon processeur. mais au démarrage, le noctua tourne une fois sur deux. obligé de re démarrer lordinateur pour que le ventilateur se décide a tourner.
