I used the NH-U12S to replace my old cpu air cooler. I ordered it in conjunction with the Corsair ML120 White Led fans. This combination was exactly what Id hoped for. My stress test temperatures dropped from 67C to 59C and cleared my G.Skill Trident Z RGB ram. I couldnt have asked for a better cooler for my needs. I highly recommend.

Un peu compliqué à monter proprement (taille importante) avec la back plate, les ailettes et embouts en même temps. C’est quand même un très bon produit une fois en place.

También es verdad que no hago overclock

Worth every penny. Comes with all the parts you’ll need and a cool full metal sticker as well as it’s great NT-H1 thermal paste. If your thinking of pulling the trigger do it.

Noctua is the leader in air cooling for a reason - their products are well made, are easy to install and most importantly work very well. Unless you are really pushing the boundaries of physics, air coolers work nearly as well as modern AIO coolers and are significantly more reliable. Even under stress test conditions, I can barely hear this cooler running. Noctua’s mounting system is very easy to install and very solid - no wonder so many competitors copy their design.

As Most people that are currently buying this are most likely fans of Linus Tech Tips on YouTube, the LTT edition is pretty sweet in my opinion, the additional orange anti-vibration pads and the LTT stickers and badge are great.

Intel’s 11600K consumes very high wattage under full load, thus producing much heat. This cooler manages to keep the CPU at a max of 60C (with turbo on) under maximum stress for a couple minutes or so (ambient room is 71F or 22C). I don’t plan to overclock however and merely got this chip because it was cheaper than the 11600. If you do however, this cooler will work very nicely as there is plenty of thermal headroom for this chip specifically. All that being said, mine appears bent. I swear the heat sink is pressed evenly on the CPU though… I guess it’s just the cooler. And yeah, with the under load temperature the heat sink must be fully pressed against the CPU.

Keeps temps nice and cool on my r7 7700x. I’m running this cooler in push pull configuration. No throttling issues. Quite as a mouse. Fits Nicely in my NZXT h510 Flow. No Ram clearance issues. Some fan curve adjustment for cooler and case may be required for your specific setup.
