> 3 dayRecently I upgraded to a i7 9700k - 1070ti with my 9700k overclocked at 5.0 I am able to maintain 40-50 degrees, even running games like tarkov, csgo and rust temps stayed around that area. Furthermore when you increase the fan speed on the cooler it is still promisingly quiet def a great air cooler for anyone who does not want to spend extra on liquid cooling.

> 3 dayTbh, I cant dislike this cooler, but I will say I wish I knew more about computers than I did when I put my brothers together. The temps are higher than my taste prefers with an r5 3600, but not horrible. Chiplets, am I right?

> 3 dayAwesome cooler 10/10, Prefer this over cheap AIO coolers. User with a good thermal compound like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut. Check case compatibility on Noctuas site and Read last paragraph of review if you are replacing an existing CPU Cooler.

> 3 dayVery secure feeling mounting system, super premium feel on everything. Im using it to cool my 5600X and with PBO off and at a sustained load of 76 watts it stays at 70° C. Great thermals, would be happy to leave it running at that temperature for extended periods. There are cheaper options that will do most of the things the NH-U12S, but it wont be everything it is. Personally I was expecting even better thermals than I got. With PBO on, +200MHz offset, and a scalar of 10x sustained loads are 120 watts and it reaches 93°. I dont have experience with other coolers for comparison but its definetly leaps and bounds better than the stock cooler.
