I was initially using the stock cooler that came with my 5600x, but the temps would go well into the mid 90C range so I turned off the boost and manually set the clock speeds lower until I could get a new cooler. After installing this one (which was quite easy btw) I was able to turn boost back on and not have to manually throttle my CPU anymore. I tested with cinebench and with all cores at 100% and fully boosted I get temps in the low 80C range. Much better but it still idles a little high. Maybe one of the bigger, chunkier coolers would help with that or maybe the 5600x just idles hot, either way Im pleased with it.

Ive just replaced the cooler on my 8700k with this and Im seriously impressed. Ive never bought Noctua before because they were always so ugly (the same colour scheme as my grandmas bathroom) but since you can get them in black now I thought Id give them a shot. I have done a before and after temperature comparison below.

Super quiet, I would also highly recommend using this for any cpu with integrated graphics.

Ich habe bis vor Heute noch den Intel Stock Kühler für meinen i7-4770 (sollte ich vielleicht auch mal upgraden) verwendet. Da hatte ich gefährlich hohe Temperaturen von 77-99°C (via HWMonitor gemessen) in Situationen von Webbrowsing bis hin zu COD Warzone spielen. In

francamente speravo di ottenere di più da qusto noctua.. ho avuto altri dissipatori sempre comprati su amazon, che sicuramente costavano di più ma che raffreddavano in modo estremamente migliore. il dissipatore fa il suo, ma con la CPU sotto pressione, nel mio caso un ryzen 3800, la ventola gira e non poco.. e si sente.. certo niente a che vedere con la ventola stock di amd, li sembra di essere in un salone di parrucchieri nellora di punta di sabato dal rumore di ventola che fa. però insomma.. senza infamia e senza lode.

Slapped this baby onto a Ryzen 5 5600x, replacing the stock cooler. System is mounted inside a Corsair 5000D Airflow case with 3x120mm intake on front and 3x120mm exhaust on top all at 1300rpm and 26CFM, 0.89 mmH2O. Room ambient ~74F. Idle dropped from 54C down to 32C. Under load dropped from 81C down to 59C. Included quality thermal paste. Easy install. Well constructed. Virtually inaudible. Worth every penny IMHO. If youre shopping for an aftermarket cooler I would strongly suggest you place this one on your short list.
