> 3 dayYou can tell the instant you take this out of the box the quality and care that went into this product. If you are looking at this cooler then you have probably already read the reviews and seen the videos on how good this product is. I do wish the AMD spacers were black instead of grey ( very very minor grip ). I do recommend putting on the fan with the top clip first then the bottom clip. It does take a little bit of force to clip it on in a limited amount of space but the clips hold great. Easy ram clearance and very quiet. 6 year warranty.

Greater than one weekFirst of all, this cooler is great. Way way better than my stock AMD cooler. Its super quiet and cooled down my cpu during gaming by about 10-15C. There is no question that this cooler have been engineered very well. If you intend to only use it with a one fan configuration then get it, if you intend in using it with a push/pull configuration then read below.

Greater than one weekI really have to say this is an outstanding product in every sense of the word. Noctua first makes some of the best static pressure high cfm fans on the market and their product is literally top tier. I saw system thermals greatly drop on my cpu from 41C to 32C which is an insane drop while idle. While gaming, nothing ever went higher than the low 50s. Its especially easy to install if you are running an Intel Processor and the results and even the look are phenomenal. I give this the gold star for the gold star standard!

02-01-2025Ignore all the specs and just buy it. Its simply the best CPU cooler in its class (single 120mm air cooling fan and heatsink). After all, Noctua has always been a reputable, industry-leading manufacturer.

> 3 dayBest cooler I’ve ever owned. Dropped my idle temperatures by about 15 degrees celsius from 50C to around 35C, and gaming temperatures dropped roughly 12 degrees celsius, from 85C to around 73C or lower. Highly recommended for people with a Ryzen 5 5600X (or any 5000-series AMD processor, really). Works much, much better than the stock cooler that comes with it. Very easy to install, and will look great with almost any build aesthetics.

> 3 dayI returned a cheaper cooler because it was too difficult to install and decided on spending the Noctua premium and went with this amazing cooler. The build quality is fantastic, install was flawless, and the chromax black along with the additional heatsink cover I purchased looks amazing. Will always recommend noctua products. Hopefully one day they’ll get into the RGB game!

> 3 dayThe Wraith Spire is a good cooler, just a little noisy for me since my computer is sitting on the desk right next to me. I have been doing folding and my CPU was hitting 94c. With the NH-U12S I am hitting 88c and the noise levels are much better (with the single fan it comes with). Super easy to install!

> 3 dayGreat fan. Comes with a weird screwdriver that I dont need but feel too bad about to throw away though. It always bugs me when a product I buy comes with a worse version of a tool I already own. Its a waste of resources.

> 3 dayIve been running a Ryzen 7 3700X with the stock Wraith Prism cooler. It was doing an okay job. Most of the time my max running temps were in the upper 60s or low 70s, with the occasional split-second spikes up to high 70s or even low 80s while gaming. So the stock cooler was doing well enough, and Im not OCing my CPU.
