> 3 dayI turned my computer on for the first time without this cooler and the processor was at 100c then with the cooler it runs at 28c. Dont use the line or x method for spreading thermal paste on the processor. Just use a credit card to spread a thin layer on the processor and the cooler surface

> 3 dayWhen it appeared that my order might take longer than I had hoped, I kept debating whether cancel the order and get a water kit. When it arrived earlier than originally stated, I decided to give it a shot... and Im glad I did! My new build has a 4Ghz i7 4790k that idled at ~72C with the stock cooler. Cranking the i7 up to 4.7 GHz, the Noctua NH-U12S keeps the CPU around 40C idle and 55C under load with the single CPU fan turning around 650 RPM. I had no problem with the cooler clearing the G.Skill Ripjaws X memory stick in slot 1. While I have the cooler orientated with the fan toward the PCIe slots (so it pushes the air out the top of the case), its obvious that a second fan would also clear the memory had I switched orientation.

> 3 dayEro incerto e alle prime armi con una ventola non stock. Ho consultato una serie di Video su YouTube e alla fine ho scelto questo Noctua NH-U12S per il mio processore AMD II x6 Phenom. Sono soddisfatto da tutto: imballaggio, qualità prodotto, istruzioni, e il rumore della ventola. Cè la possibilità di aggiungerne una, forse lo farò ma più in la quando cambio anche la scheda video.

> 3 dayGekauft aufgrund der anderen guten Rezensionen. Anbringung war einfach, Geräuschkulisse ist kaum wahrnehmbar. Wenn mein i7 unter Volllast läuft wird es schon ein bisschen warm, aber nicht bedenklich. Zusammen mit einem Gehäuselüfter nicht mal mehr warm jetzt.
