21-12-2024This set is amazing!! Great quality, and can’t wait to gift it. I am gifting it to a 9 year old beginner, and it seems very easy to understand and like he will have a blast!!

> 3 dayI took a 9 year old girls tag off our churchs giving tree. All she had wanted was a drawing pad. I ordered this set for her. I imagine when she opened it she was really pleased and surprised at the complete drawing set.

> 3 dayMy nephew has really been into drawing so I thought he would really enjoy this as a Christmas gift. And he did. He loves that the sketch pad was a perfect size for him. He loved the different pencils. He’s obsessed. And it’s great that he now enjoys drawing more than being on his iPad.

> 3 dayI would have given 5 stars but, when the set arrived , looking through the packaging, I could see one of the pencil tips whats broken and nowhere in the packaging. (The paper that comes is very lightweight just so you know. When I sharpened one of the charcoal pencils the charcoal seemed to break very easily. I bought these for my daughter to take on vacation with her and Im hoping they work well. I will update when she returns.

> 3 dayI wanted to get back in to sketching/shading again after years away and had no tools left in my house, so this was an easy choice. This package is a perfect start up for anyone interested in starting or getting back into pencil drawing, with a full compliment of pencils (soft, semi-soft, hard), and a generous sketch pad that actually has some weight to it. Newcomers may find the selection of charcoal tools a bit intimidating, but theyre a nice bonus and allow more room for play and experimentation. At less than $20, even a hesitant would-be artist should be willing to pay to give it a shot. It is not especially accommodating to the traveler, but its only fair that you would have to pay more for a travel kit and extra packaging to secure the tools for easy transport. But if you just want to have a nice set of tools around the house for easy anytime drawing, this is a cinch.

Greater than one weekIve always wanted to sketch, but was hesitant because I have absolutely no formal training. When I saw this beginners kit, I thought it would be worth giving it a try. It absolutely was- and Im really enjoying it. You, your kids, grandkids- whomever- will find it has everything to get started translating whats in your minds eye to paper.
