Greater than one weekIt works for the occasional shaved ice treat. Not like snow. It makes a fine micro chip sort of texture but not quite the snowy & lofty thing you get from block shaving. The icecube thing is convenient though.

> 3 daySo easy to use! I purchased to use in my classroom. I was shocked at how well it worked and how far ice went.

> 3 daySo had little bit of problems when I first got it you have to make sure even though it seems like the top pieces push down all the way you have to make sure it actually is if it’s not spinning in the gears are all together in line up other than that it has worked fine I’ve used it a couple times now comes out really nice shaved ice one time the ice didn’t wanna cut and I had to keep on moving the ice around till finally it caught right which was a pain but it’s nice … also it kind of sucks that the ice drops right by the door instead of more towards the back so as soon as you open the door it will start trying to come out

> 3 dayBought this to have cool treats over the summer. We did a trial run and it worked great and the snowcones were perfect. Now I can get the machine to turn on but the ice canister won’t spin and it won’t shave any ice. It just makes a high-pitched noise. I troubleshooted it every way I know how it just doesn’t work anymore.

> 3 dayGot this for my niece for her birthday to add alongside her lemonade business and it truly made her entire birthday party. I agree with some other comments about the door being incredibly tight and annoying to open and close so hoping ours doesnt break as you do have to put some force into it. Overall, great gift. The only feature I wish this had was a little plug on the bottom to easily drain the water instead of having to tilt the entire machine to get any melted ice out. That and I would have paid more for a steel like element to keep the ice colder. Overall, I recommend to keep the ice in the cooler until ready to make and eat because it will melt pretty quick. However, to add onto a little girls CEO mentality, its pretty good! Love the retro vibes.

> 3 dayLove this thing so much that this is the second one I have purchased. I have had my original one for 7 years and it is still working perfectly through my 5 children and my second grade class of 21 for end of school year classroom parties. This one was purchased as a gift for my brothers family and his wife sends me pictures of the kids and neighbors enjoying snocones on the weekends. If there are children in your life or if you still have those moments like I do, you need this!

> 3 dayWhy do I purchase items off of this site that come from places that, sometimes, dont bother having instructions. You cant use regular tray ice cubes with this thing. I assume you have to use cubes in grocery store ice bags for a better result even though I havent tried that yet. I had to keep taking the top off to help dislodge the ice from the chamber that was stuck and wasnt getting crunched. I had to tag team with my daughter who figured out how to put the ice crunching mechanism back in to make everything fit to use it again since I didnt realize that you have to watch how you take things off to learn how to put it back correctly. I used it once 2-3 weeks ago and that was it. Im not understanding why flavor is a rated feature on this item when this isnt an item that you eat. You have to purchase syrups for this separately (?). Easy to Clean, turn it upside down let it drain on a towel and the end. Didnt realize that when you put the lid on then twist it to your left, it starts the crunching process turn it back and that is it. No Switch. Should be a switch!

Greater than one weekThis ice cone machine was a hit at my 5 year olds party. The kids loved it. It was easy to use and made enough ice for everyone. We had 40 people present. It was awesome.
