As far as a replacement for a personal suitcase/carry on bag, this is a solid choice that has good weather resistance (I frequently walk to work in rainy conditions with none of my personal effects in the bag getting wet). As far as its security features, its nothing to write home about, but does keep potentially nosy people from having easy access to your belongings. It wont stop a directed attack from an experienced thief, but its hard to find a bag that would in this price range. Overall, I would definitely recommend this bag for more casual hiking enthusiasts and low-risk travelling. Solid construction and generous storage space!

I needed a simple backpack for work that will hold a monstrous 17 laptop. This was the right price and did the job well. It has all the pockets that I needed and a bonus pass thru USB port. Its made out of a tight multiweaved waterproof material which it great for public places like airports.

I bought this bag to replace my travelling bag pack. It is absolutely what I was looking for - prefect I was little worried about quality but it turned out better than i expected. Looks good too.

I purchased this backpack specifically to take a 5-week S/W Asian vacation. The pack worked great. It easily carried weights up to 30 pounds. The straps and ventilated back were comfortable to ware. The pack was large enough to have a change of clothes as well as my computer, toiletry items, camera, other electronics and all the other personal items that I was schlepping around. Highly recommend this pack since it worked great for me.

This backpack holds my laptop, 2 books, iPad very well. The charger outlet is useful as well.

It was definitely time to upgrade my backpack and this was it. This will definitely be used for work and for traveling. The bag has plenty of room in every pocket so dont worry about not having enough room. The straps are very comfortable, stitching is spot on and secure and the zippers are all excellent. Also having the USB cable included built right in is a plus. You dont get those crappy plastic zippers and tabs that break after a few weeks you get the real thing.
