If you want to sit and use your iPad on your lap, this stand is not what you need. It doesn’t have a grip on the device, so it can slide off it if you don’t watch it. However, if you put your iPad or phone on it while it’s on a desk, it’s pretty stable.

The stiffness is just right to adjust my iPhone orTablet in the position I choose. It collapses flat enough to easily put in luggage or a large purse. I recommend this stand and Im glad I bought it.

I enjoy using this stand with my iPad. It is definitely sturdy and it eliminates the need for me to hold it while searching for information or doing tasks. Helps alleviate pain in my hands due to arthritis.

This stand works so well we got one for our daughter and it took us about 4 of them to find this one.

Works great for a 9.7” iPad

This product looks nice, yet bulky and heavy for travel or portable use. The backbone to hold the arm for a table is thick and big, however not stable when I use my iPad air 4 which is 10.9-in (not even 12.9-in tablet) on it. It seems it holds tablet okay but when I tough the screen of my tablet, it shakes and keeps shaking little while which made me motion sickness from staring the shaking screen.
