Very solid and sturdy. Works well with my XPS 17. Would recommend if your looking for a laptop stand and clean up your desk space.

I perform most of my computing on my bed as I have spinal cancer complications and need something to keep the laptop raised to be easier to reach and not block the ventilation fans for proper cooling. I have used those flimsy plastic risers that incorporate fans for cooling but their folding feet are always collapsing when I move around. Then I saw this and my prayers were answered. Firstly, this product is hefty and thats a good thing. It is built to last and is stable as a rock! It is obviously a simple device but for those who need something to place their full-sized laptop, it is perfect. The base is flat and large making the problem of faulty stubby legs disappear as others often possess. It stays where its placed and the hinges stay put where you angle them. The only thing I might suggest in future adaptations would be holes drilled through the upper plate to assist in ventilation but theres plenty of room for that already and is just my subjective opinion. The appearance is attractive and modern making it look nice even when you leave the laptop elsewhere (and it comes in two shades). My 17 HP Envy sits atop this with no issues and is probably my best (and last) laptop pedestal Well worth the investment.

This thing is a beast. Very well made and very sturdy. Ive had everything from my laptop, Rode Procaster, and even an Akai MPC Live. This thing is just simply outstanding.

Purchased this to raise my laptop on desk, was having neck issues. Also purchased with a wireless key board but find in raised position comfortable to just type on laptop keyboard. Works great no more neck pain from looking down all day.

I like how I could adjust the angle and height of the stand. Additionally, it is useful to prevent my laptop from overheating and causing future damage.

Im setting up my home office now that its clear that the working from home thing may not end for a very long time, maybe never, in the company I work for. So I bought this to help. My main problems that I was trying to solve were that the laptop was too low for me when Im using the laptop keyboard (I had to kind of stoop over it to type, and when I was using it for video conference, it was shooting me at this comically low angle... what is this, film noir? Anyway, this solves both problems.

Its a little hard to move the parts, but I guess that makes it sturdy, but my 15.6 laptop was tipping it over at certain angles. I wish the base was a little wider, so its serving its purpose.
