The stand is solidly built and the laptop is very stable on the stand. The stand is aesthetically pleasing and surprising compact. The stand is stiff and does not easily glide to the upright position. Please note the instructions on using the stand is on the box, but it was covered by the Amazon delivery label sticker on the box (which may have helped). Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Product is very sturdy and the friction hinges require substantial force relative to the weight of a standard computer to move which is good for stability if you need to type or interface with hardware that is mounted on it. Adjustable to desired height/tilt. Would recommend to anyone looking for a product to provide this function.
