PanPastel 29545 Ultra Soft Artist Pastel, Pearlescent Violet, 954.5

I love PanPastels and this is just another color to add to my collection. PanPastels are a great alternate to watercolors, oils or acrylics for your artistic needs. Theyre soft, can blend with other colors. I used them for art journaling and mixed media art. One thing is you do need some of the Sofft tools for applying these pastels. You can also apply them with make-up sponges. I know some people who use them as watercolors. I have not tried that alternative as yet.

I enjoy PanPastels, generally. The colors are rich and the application is smooth. I do not like the containers in that the lids take a bit of care to put back on properly. These dont replace my regular pastels, but they are a nice addition.

It does seem to extend the other Pan Pastel colors.

I love these pastels. I mostly use them as a layer over other painted and/or collaged surfaces. This yellow is delicious!

Nice product, arrived broken. I need the prosody to for a project ASAP so I’ll have to work around the problem, or else I would have returned it. PanPastels are nice quality.
