PanPastel 29545 Ultra Soft Artist Pastel, Pearlescent Violet, 954.5

Came broken and as powder as like every other single pastel I ordered.

This is essential for anyone who has Pan Pastels (or any pastels, really)- its basically like a clear Pan Pastel and allows you to extend and pull an application of Pan Pastel without making the color lighter or darker. For instance, if you lay down a line of blue Pan Pastel on your paper, you can then drag some of this right on top and it will allow you to cover twice as much area without dimming the color. I use it a lot to create transparent colors with Pan Pastels and other dry pastel sticks I have in my art supply collection. It also works as a way to get am ombre/faded look, and is a wonderful way to blend colors adjacent to one another without actually *mixing* the colors, so you dont get any muddy grays/browns from mixing colors that are complementary.

Works super well on my shrinking plastic :))) it’s just little hard for me to pick colors , trying to get RED tone set, but never find a good match one :( I hope in the future this brand can come out more different color sets :)

I love that with a brush you have full control building up the pigment whilst it still being pretty opaque. With the soft sponge tools it goes on super opaque. They glide on many surfaces smoothly without losing any punch to the pigment. These are super grand to use weather youre looking to use them on resin or paper. I love them and highly recommend!

i am so upset. i was looking forward to these for my next project and it has come to me damaged… the inside is crumbled (i have also shown a photo of it being unopened).
