> 3 dayOk let me start out by saying before purchasing this item I contacted pixio directly through email for a few questions. I wasn’t expecting them to respond at all. But they did within minutes surprisingly. Only company to ever reply to me regarding a pre sale question. Great customer service I can say that already. USA based company. Amazing monitor! Super sharp, super detailed and very fast. It was packaged better than any monitor I have ever bought even ones twice this ones price. Had extremely nice soft foam. Not the cheap hard crap. I followed a OSD calibration guide I found on YouTube and dang it’s super color accurate. No back light bleed I can see, no dead pixels, free sync is great, and I honestly don’t know any monitor better for this price. This monitor destroys anything I’ve ever had previously and at 32”! Anyway I highly recommend this. Does need a little tweaking out of the box as far as the color profile. Hardware unboxed has a great guide on YouTube for making it super accurate. Suggest you watch it to get the settings for you to set. But. I absolutely love this monitor and will be buying a second one down the road.

> 3 dayAlthough this is my first gaming monitor its of really good quality. The build itself is sturdy and doesnt seem cheap. Has a great tilt and good image quality. The only issues I have is that the volume control is kinda bad. There isnt dedicated buttons, you have to go into the settings to change it. Once you change it the lowest it can go is still somewhat loud and any lower and the sound turns off. Although it really isnt an issue for me because most of the time I use headphones. The product is great with a bright screen and sharp looking image.

> 3 dayPros: Does what a 1080p screen should. No issues getting it to run at the advertised refresh rates, two HDMI and two DP inputs. Seems like decent color quality. No dead pixels, and I love the thin bezel. No extra frills, decent specs. Cons: Pictures on Amazon for it are slightly out of date since it doesnt show the correct inputs on the revision I received. Power supply is a barrel connector with a wall adapter at the end, and the total length is ~1 meter. Personally I am neither a fan of the wall adapter nor the short lenght, I prefer a standard cable with the necessary transformer either in the screen housing (if possible) or a box inline with the cable (ex. standard laptop power adapter) so it can more easily fit with power strips/surge protector. A 2m total length would give more reasonable flexibility. Also, the labeling on the inputs (and specs) advertise DisplayPort 1.4, but they include a DisplayPort 1.2 cable. It works for what I need it for, but why the disparity? No HDMI cable included, but those are quite readily available...but it can be annoying when one is not in the box.

> 3 dayWorks decent, it is MPRT, so its not true 1ms response. Not as good as a TN or IPS panel. Dead pixels after 1 week, which they say is expected. Its honestly not acceptable. I had a BenQ for over a year with not a single dead pixel. Will purchase something else and use this as a second monitor. IF you are looking for a main monitor, go with something else. IPS or TN panel. BenQ recommended. You pay for what you get i guess.

Greater than one weekSo I took a chance and ordered this pixio monitor based off a good reviews I had seen. When the monitor arrived, to say the least I was not disappointed. The picture quality is great (far better than a tn panel) and the price is unbeatable for the specs you get. However, I did have an issue with the stand being loose even with all the mounting bolts tightened down. So rather than return to amazon I reached out to pixio and explained the issue. I received a personalized (not an auto) email response in less than 24 hours. The representative immediately offered a replacement stand and asked that I register my product and fill out a simple rma form. After I submitted my forms I then received confirmation that my item would be shipped, but to my surprise I received the replacement stand the very next day. I have since installed the new stand which resolved all issues with the previous one. Dealing with pixio is hands down the best and easiest customer service experience I’ve had. I now have faith that if something is to go wrong in the future that pixio will stand by their warranty. If your reading this review and are hesitant to try a pixio, don’t be. Let my testimony help you make the right decision. There are other similar panels on the market from more well known companies, but most have tn panels/less features and are more expensive. The Pixio monitors truly represent a great value in the market. If I need a second monitor down the line pixio will be what I get.

> 3 dayOutside of lackluster brightness and contrast for a bright environment, this monitor is a dream on paper. 165Hz (144Hz adaptive sync) 2560x1440 with the black levels and lesser backlight bleed of a *VA LCD while maintaining the input delay of a faster IPS or slower TN panel. The higher overdrive settings are useless for how overaggressive the effect is, but outside of that this monitor seems like it could work for anyone. Unfortunately, its not all good. The first screen arrived intact. The packaging was just the monitor box and a cardboard sleeve that fit around it. Setting it up, there were no noticeable defects and the screen looked uniform on lighting. Turned the screen off and mounted it, only to turn it back on and... No signal. Maybe a cable? Swapped the power supply and DisplayPort cables around and same deal. Power supply LED goes from a solid green to period flashing when plugged into the monitor, indicating its shutting itself down automatically. Let the monitor sit unplugged for a day and tried it again. Turned on for a few seconds before going black, power supply again blinking to indicate a possible short. Probably a bad capacitor. The screen has to be replaced. Second monitor arrived with an extra box protecting the cardboard sleeve. It also had a flat piece of styrofoam fitted between the front of the display and the inner box, which was oddly absent from the first monitor. Set up and plugged in, it worked, although this one had a dark smudge over 7-9 pixels in the lower half of the screen. It looks like dirt caught between the panel and cover, but its barely noticeable on anything but a solid bright background and just looks like the screen needs cleaning. I can live with that. At least theres no dead pixels. Until today, over a week after I first plugged it in. Suddenly theres two dead pixels stacked vertically just right of the center of the screen and it shows up in everything I do. Now Im wondering if that supposed dirt caught under the cover isnt actually the sign of some horrible defect and whether or not I can expect more pixels to go bad just weeks into use. I get that pixels can die over time, but this short of a window is ridiculous. So now I get to return another screen and hope Amazon doesnt take it upon itself to ban me for not throwing away hundreds of dollars on defective or broken products. This screen would be a great one if it arrived with only minor blemishes, but Im two of two in with one screen DOA and the other showing signs of serious deterioration only days into use. It might be beyond a smaller company like Pixio, but monitor manufacturers should start implementing pixel perfect options. I would have payed extra to avoid these headaches from the outset. Update: Changed review from two to three stars due to the third model working so far without error or obvious fault. Even though the screens arent the epitome of hardware with their sub-144Hz pixel refresh speeds that lead to some blurriness with moving text, overaggressive overdrive ghosting effects, and inherent LCD faults like backlight bleed and black levels that are far from perfect, they are a solid 4-4.5/5 if you dont end up with a string of bad eggs like I did. For now Im leaving it at 3/5 due to the implications tied to the majority of monitors sent my way being defective. Hopefully my experience was a fluke and the vast majority of buyers avoid sharing my frustration.

> 3 dayI have had this monitor for a couple of days now and I must say it works fantastically. The picture is beautiful, gameplay is seamless, and overall I am very impressed with this monitor. I am glad that I read the reviews about the included DisplayPort cable as the one that is provided is not very high-quality. I went ahead and spent $6 on a decent cable on Amazon and I havent had any problems whatsoever, not a single stuck pixel, not a single dead pixel, guess I got lucky. The included stand requires some assembly but, unlike other people who have reviewed this products, I feel that the stand is more than adequate is actually quite sturdy. The monitor has a very nice build quality and overall I am very impressed, at first I was a little timid about buying a monitor from a company that I knew nothing about. After a little research I discovered that this particular screen is actually made by Samsung and then pixio puts these monitors together, I am rather fond of Samsung screens and this one clearly is no slouch it is an a+ product. I will not dock stars from this product because of the experience I had in shipping, however it was terrible. now I do realize that this is peak holiday shopping season and I do realize that there are probably a billion packages to deliver all over the United States but it does not excuse the customer service that I received from UPS when dealing with this package. In all I ordered this on Monday and it took over a week before I got the monitor. The customer service was so terrible that I will personally never use UPS as a carrier ever again, I was hung up on by a customer service supervisor and then I was patronized by another one, it wasnt until I got Amazon customer service involved that anything actually got done as far as UPS was concerned. Amazon for the love of all your goodly good things, allow the shopper to pick the carrier!

19-12-2024This may sound trivial but monitor doesnt have an on and off button, for my application that is very inconvenient because i use it in a two monitor system. in order to get best use out of it i have to unplug the power cord to allow my video card to sync my other monitor. I am also not crazy about the one button on screen tuning would have liked to have had a remote with on off and on screen tuning, the button on the back of the monitor is very inconvenient for my setup as i have to resync this monitor often. Just my 2 cents worth but if your getting it for a 2 monitor system i wouldnt recommend it. picture quality is good and refresh is good just the above mentioned inconvenience for me.

> 3 dayThe brightness issues other have mentioned dont seem to be an issue with my unit. Also they included a display port 1.2 6ft cable in the box. The included cable is suitable for 1440p 165hz. Was able to enable g-sync at the 165hz as well with the included cable. I used the monitor color profile provided by Hardware Unboxed $5 Patreon rewards and the colors look great with that profile applied through windows. All in all, probably the best 2k 165hz FLAT panel monitor you can get for the price. Was thinking about getting the G5 odyssey but held off as I really wanted a flat panel opposed to a curved one. Build quality is great, and Wendel from Level1 Tech on YT had high praises of this monitor as well. And they do a lot of cheap Korean monitor reviews. Dont be put off by the brand name, the monitor and panel does what it claims to do a the best price on the market. Also has an OSD crosshair you can enable for games that dont offer one or in case the game you are playing has a crosshair you dont like, you can disable the in game crosshair and use the OSD one instead.
