This Rucksack is beautiful. Thick smooth, yet rugged leather. Very well made. Using it as travel bag and personal item on plane. Lots of room and pockets to organize. Cannot comment on durability, as I just received it; BUT the way it is made, I am sure it will withstand travel rigors very well.

Real leather and quality craftsmanship is hard to find these days. So far polare products have exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend their products

This is a solid bag. Thick leather, and the seams have held well so far. It lost 1 star because of the useless magnetic closures on the side pockets. They dont hold well, and will result in things getting pick-pocketed or simply falling out, so Ill replace them with buckles at some point. Also, the 2 functional buckle straps are split leather rather than full grain and only have 1 hole punched for the buckle. Pay attention to the measurements, as this is a little bit smaller than a standard backpack.

This is a great bag and can be used for multiple things, whether it be going to class or hiking in the mountains. Ive had this bag a little over 6 months now, and it has held up pretty good. Leather is very thick and sturdy with that great smell anyone who loves leather will appreciate. Its simple, classic, and hard not to love. You wont be disappointed.

Back pack is perfect.I love it. Looks, duribility, quality…even the snaps have the feel of quality. I also get compliments on it. I think I got the best.

Not very useful. main body had ONE flap (small) zipperpocket. Outside middle pocket is a buckle while the rest are snap.. weird. Top pouch tie tassels (to tighten/close opening) and snap get it each others way. It’s irritating to have to fumble to get around them once closed to open. Further the arm straps were uncomfortably wide and I could not wear it. Had to return. Otherwise well made. But scuffs like any leather product, fair warning /:

After much agonizing and comparing of messenger bags, small and full sized backpacks, I bought this backpack as a Christmas gift for my husband - and I am so glad that I did! (I wish I had bought two!) I wanted something rustic looking, preferably leather, that would be practical and offer a classic look, and settled on this backpack ultimately because it was high quality and on sale. We received exactly what was advertised. This is a beautiful, strong leather backpack, already weatherproofed, ready to use, and easily fits a full sized laptop, books, etc. (If you were considering this for a serious hiking pack, you may want to add some padding to the straps for comfort). The stitching is strong, and the buckles are sturdy. This is a well made bag. My husband was also particularly impressed with the magnetic snap buttons on the side pouches. We have only had opportunity for light use so far, but my husband has been regularly packing and unpacking it over the holidays, and we are very pleased with its usefulness. I previously bought a weekender for my husband nine years ago and it has held up great. I just bought him a different backpack from Polare, which he loves and uses for travel. Now, for this pack, this is perfect, I got the light brown color and immediately treated it with neatsfoot oil. The leather is soft, but with structure. The front pocket is an actual buckle, and the side pockets are magnet snaps, so I wouldn’t put anything valuable in there. The bag itself is open and unlined, but it’s perfect to hold noise cancelling headphones, hydration packs, and other travel essentials. All in all another great Polare purchase I’m sure will last a long time.

I bought it for my wife who is 5-2 and it fits her perfectly. She loves it! The quality of the leather is outstanding and with care (leather moisturizer) the bag looks even more stunning. Its got the right amount of pockets and holds her 15 laptop, peripherals, and other work items with ease.

I was a bit shocked that the bag is bigger than I expected. I was thinking of making it my everyday bag but it looks so big for my frame. Pros: - sturdy even after washing it from the machine (I know, this shouldnt be done but it still looks great) - thick leather - strategic placement of pockets - cheaper than the usual genuine leather backpacks Cons: - bigger than expected - not for traveling since its quite heavy (something that you would expect from authentic leather) - stitches & glue are not perfect (but still works)
