I feel its a little to big for my small body

After much agonizing and comparing of messenger bags, small and full sized backpacks, I bought this backpack as a Christmas gift for my husband - and I am so glad that I did! (I wish I had bought two!) I wanted something rustic looking, preferably leather, that would be practical and offer a classic look, and settled on this backpack ultimately because it was high quality and on sale. We received exactly what was advertised. This is a beautiful, strong leather backpack, already weatherproofed, ready to use, and easily fits a full sized laptop, books, etc. (If you were considering this for a serious hiking pack, you may want to add some padding to the straps for comfort). The stitching is strong, and the buckles are sturdy. This is a well made bag. My husband was also particularly impressed with the magnetic snap buttons on the side pouches. We have only had opportunity for light use so far, but my husband has been regularly packing and unpacking it over the holidays, and we are very pleased with its usefulness. I love it. This is the second bag I got from polare and the 3rd item from them that I have. The leather is always super high quality and the craftsmanship is superb. Also customer service is great because they shipped me a zipper a year after I bought one of the products after I damaged it from wear and tear I have 2 critiques of this bag however: 1. The magnetic button clasps on the sides dont hold well and open too easily 2. The main clasps (front poket and the main clasps) leave a lot to be desired. Because the main one can end up falling off and the one on the big pocket doesnt hold well unless the pocket is full and bulging Overall I am happy with this bag and use it often as a daily bag and short travels. Can hold a laptop and some clothes easily. Just with the clasps were a different style and more secure

I like the style and color. However, the leather is too hard and heavy. I want a soft leather and easy to carry.

This backpack is both beautiful and functional. I received it as a birthday gift, and I love it! The leather and the workmanship are of the highest quality - even better than I saw in Florence, Italy. This bag will serve me well for a very long time.

I received my new backpack yesterday and am very pleased. The leather is superb, and the stitching looks tough enough for a NYC commuter, which I am. The fixtures are great: center exterior pocket has a rolling buckle; side exterior pockets are magnetic snaps, (I put my commuter pass, a small change purse, and my security passes in those pockets for easy access on the run). Everything feels solid. I paused to think about how much weight the bag could hold, and I think the straps can hold a moderate amount of items. I feel comfortable that it can hold what a woman would keep in her handbag on daily basis, but maybe not many heavy schoolbooks. The bag has a short strap with a metal D ring to attach keys inside the bag. There is also a zip pocket inside the bag. All in all, this is a terrific looking bag, at a very affordable cost, and can carry a moderate amount of daily use personal items, but maybe not many heavy schoolbooks. It looks just like the pictures, and is rich-feeling.

This is a great bag and can be used for multiple things, whether it be going to class or hiking in the mountains. Ive had this bag a little over 6 months now, and it has held up pretty good. Leather is very thick and sturdy with that great smell anyone who loves leather will appreciate. Its simple, classic, and hard not to love. You wont be disappointed.

So far I think its a pretty cool back pack had it for a couple of months now didnt really use it much. Im going to wait until I bye some leather cleaner & Conditioner.....

Good leather, bad fasteners.

This backpack is wonderful and I’d definitely recommend it. I carry a backpack to work and I wanted something more professional looking. This bag is what I chose. The quality is outstanding and I can tell the bag will most likely be around longer than I will. My only criticism is that there is just 1 large compartment when you open the bag. I thought it was divided into a front and back area but it’s not. There is one big space. I’m definitely happy with my selection but I’d prefer to have at least one more larger space, a tighter space to help keep documents and folders from bending and getting crumpled a a place for pens and smaller items.
