    The mStand is very well built and nice looking with brushed aluminum finish. Be aware though that it is not compatible with all laptops. My 17 HP envy is too back-heavy for use with this stand, and tended to tip over backwards.

    I have had one of there for several years and bought another for my partner when she started working from home. Its solid metal and unlike many of the competitors does not have to be assembled so will never fall apart or need to be tightened up. Its similar in style to Apples monitor stands, but the sheet metal is a bit thinner, and the edges are slightly rounded.
