Rain Design 10032 mStand Laptop Stand, Silver (Patented)

This has been a great stand for my Macbook Unibody 13 so that I can use it as a dual-screen setup with my 27 monitor. Holds it pretty much at the right height and has not overheated my system. So, Im liking the setup! I also like that it appears to be made just like the Macbook - in terms of using aluminum so that the stand matches the laptop in looks. Very clean and classy.

Very well built aluminum stand. Solid all around...cant complain...only sometimes i am afraid the lip that holds it is low...and might slip if not paying attention... However, my macbook pro sits perfectly on it and has never slipped! Would definitely buy more Rain Design products.

Obvious reason why the mstand is the standard.

Absolutely love this. I have a large flat screen monitor and this makes the pair of screens look great next to each other. Also, I can store my mouse underneath this when not in use.

The aesthetic matches Apples space grey perfectly, and the design is great.

This stand enables my MacBook to be powered on all the time without becoming hot. It sits on my desk and does not take up much room. It is also handy to just disconnect the laptop and take it somewhere without taking the stand. I use a separate keyboard and have a larger monitor and mouse connected for desktop use. It is a good heavy, sturdy stand for my laptop. Not at all flimsy.

I bought this stand since buying the new MacBook Pro with retina display. For work I use a smart card and smart card reader. The new MacBook Pro is too thin to use the smart card reader with the computer while lying flat on my desk. So, I bought the mStand. This product has an excellent build quality and is very solid in holding the MacBook Pro. If you are thinking of buying a stand for your laptop, this is the one to buy.

Because its excellent and Perfect! The angle is perfect, not too slanted not too ground level. I had some doubts because of the 1-3 stars that were given but clearly theres a reason basically ALL of the people gave it 4 and 5 stars.
