Nice keyboard, lights are bright and lots of cool options for light movement

Update after about 8mo (4/27/21): So a recent swarm version finally works without crashing (no need for the hub). Ive disabled auto updates and Ill test updates on a random computer before installing new versions from now on. It gets 5* from me. My keycaps are also lasting perfectly fine. I use it every day and wipe it clean with dilute isopropyl to clean it once in a while and nothing is peeling or rubbing off so people either scrape their keys when they type or theres a QC issue that doesnt apply to every model. Because of my great customer support experience with them, if people are on the fence about buying one, Id still say go for it because theyll respond to getting it fixed/replaced. Update after about 6mo: So long story short, I kept the keyboard because the keys are great and I didnt care about the lighting. I also found out if I have the kb and mouse plugged into a powered usb hub and leave the hub on, it saves the profiles and prevents the crashes. The support through swarm was nonexistent but when I contacted Roccat directly they responded next day and I received a replacement for the mouse within a week. So Ive updated from 1 to 3 *s. Hardware wise, this keyboard is a 5, software still needs a bit of cleanup it has gotten better, especially with the powered hub. Original: Ive preferred membrane keyboards but the Roccat just looks amazing so I had to try it. I really like the keycaps as theyre very flat. The lighting is bright and extremely customizable. Its relatively quiet with a tactile bump. Some people complain of the keys rubbing off but mine seem to be fine, and I wipe it off with a paper towel and dilute IPA like every other week. The only problem I have with the keyboard is with the Roccat Swarm software. Ive tested the roccat kone and this keyboard on two of my computers and my friends computer and Swarm freezes (which leads to the devices also freezing) for a good minute every half hour or so on all three. The kb works perfectly fine without swarm so Ive uninstalled it, so no lighting control which is sad. I reinstall it every few weeks because they do update it often but its still buggy, hopefully they get it figured out. Update 1: I have now tried with 4 different computers, the keyboard works fine if you dont launch swarm. No matter what I try: old versions, manual update to latest, all 20 usb ports between 2 laptops and 2 desktops. Nothing can keep swarm from crashing. Which means random crashes or disable swarm and have 0 light control whatsoever, cant even turn it off. Best part of all, the help button on swarm crashes it! Do not buy anything that requires swarm.

Overall, this keyboard is fantastic. It feels amazing to use and the colors are beautiful. I want to recommend this so badly. Unfortunately, after only ~20 hours of regular use, the paint started to wear off the key caps. I am really disappointed because, in my opinion, this is the most attractive keyboard I’ve seen (also, a good white keyboard can be hard to come by). I contacted Roccat and they are taking care of me. But I am still really disappointed in how quickly the paint is deteriorating. Other than that, the build quality is great. Strong plastic and metal.

We got this for our teen son for Christmas and bought two more after seeing how cool his is. Not only does it look amazing, but the click feels just right.

I love this keyboard!!!! The lights on it do different things, depending on what’s happening in the game. It’s soo comfortable and the keys are so cool!! I also love that you can adjust the volume of music, on the keyboard. I’m so glad I choose this keyboard. I’ve only used this for a few days (had to wait on my tower to show up), and even my husband likes this one! It also matches my White set-up, well.

My wife really loves this keyboard. I have to admit the lighting on this thing is quite impressive. My ONLY gripe is the swarm software that it and most Roccat peripherals use. (I have one of their mice). Software has been hit or miss for a while. Sometimes it does what you want.... sometimes it does what it wants. I will say they have patched it several times since I have started using it and it is slowly getting better. Prices are a little high but what the wife wants...she gets. It has so far been a good keyboard for her. I would definitely recommend especially if you find it on sale.

Pretty keyboard but a key cap already popped off and I have no idea when, how or where its gone

Bought this in the bundle with the Kone Pro Air and ELO 7.1 Air. Always been a Razer user so I was skeptical. The keyboard is nice and heavy. Metal top with some nice unique keys. They seem to sit a bit higher than normal, but that actually helps with the way that I sit and the angle of my hands. The lighting on this thing is phenomenal! Super bright and very fluid when it changes. Putting it into Game mode and assigning macro keys to the M1-M6 is super easy using the Roccat Swarm software. Easily 5 stars from me, both for gaming and 3D modeling!

Best keyboard so far

Hands down the best keyboard I have ever had. The keys feel and look great. There is no click to them but there is a tap when the key bottoms out. And the look is gorgeous. The RGB is the brightest Ive ever seen. Maybe its because of the brushed aluminum is reflecting the light but this keyboard looks bright even in the middle of a sunny day with the windows open. Usually I just set the RGB to white and call it a day but this AIMO mode is incredible. Instead of the same old wave or rainbow mode, which are still here if you want to use them, the way the colors swirl and twist around at random is exactly what I was looking for. Almost hypnotic. Each key press makes the lights react differently. The only nitpick I have is there is no usb passthrough. But again thats the only nitpick I have. I love this thing.
