Ultra bright. Smooth button presses but feels like a mechanical. Great looks and function. Love the volume wheel. Hate the intelligent aimo feature, just put it on wave with bright at full. Beautiful construction and materials.

Edit- 8 months later and still looks nice! No chipping issues at all! So bright and vibrant! Its a pretty nice keyboard. Love how it feels.

Keyboard is smooth as butter and the look is just plain sexy! Changed from a Razer Huntsman elite and it was worth it. Some have complained of paint peeling from the keys. Ive had mine for several months and no issues at all. Maybe use some hand moisturizer or something? This is the smoothest, brightest keyboard Ive owned. Absolutely love it. I even switched my Razer mouse to the Roccat Kone Aimo and was happy with that change also. The RGB matches perfectly!

Update after about 8mo (4/27/21): So a recent swarm version finally works without crashing (no need for the hub). Ive disabled auto updates and Ill test updates on a random computer before installing new versions from now on. It gets 5* from me. My keycaps are also lasting perfectly fine. I use it every day and wipe it clean with dilute isopropyl to clean it once in a while and nothing is peeling or rubbing off so people either scrape their keys when they type or theres a QC issue that doesnt apply to every model. Because of my great customer support experience with them, if people are on the fence about buying one, Id still say go for it because theyll respond to getting it fixed/replaced. Update after about 6mo: So long story short, I kept the keyboard because the keys are great and I didnt care about the lighting. I also found out if I have the kb and mouse plugged into a powered usb hub and leave the hub on, it saves the profiles and prevents the crashes. The support through swarm was nonexistent but when I contacted Roccat directly they responded next day and I received a replacement for the mouse within a week. So Ive updated from 1 to 3 *s. Hardware wise, this keyboard is a 5, software still needs a bit of cleanup it has gotten better, especially with the powered hub. Original: Ive preferred membrane keyboards but the Roccat just looks amazing so I had to try it. I really like the keycaps as theyre very flat. The lighting is bright and extremely customizable. Its relatively quiet with a tactile bump. Some people complain of the keys rubbing off but mine seem to be fine, and I wipe it off with a paper towel and dilute IPA like every other week. The only problem I have with the keyboard is with the Roccat Swarm software. Ive tested the roccat kone and this keyboard on two of my computers and my friends computer and Swarm freezes (which leads to the devices also freezing) for a good minute every half hour or so on all three. The kb works perfectly fine without swarm so Ive uninstalled it, so no lighting control which is sad. I reinstall it every few weeks because they do update it often but its still buggy, hopefully they get it figured out. Update 1: I have now tried with 4 different computers, the keyboard works fine if you dont launch swarm. No matter what I try: old versions, manual update to latest, all 20 usb ports between 2 laptops and 2 desktops. Nothing can keep swarm from crashing. Which means random crashes or disable swarm and have 0 light control whatsoever, cant even turn it off. Best part of all, the help button on swarm crashes it! Do not buy anything that requires swarm.

My first time with this maker of computer keyboards, and this one has exceeded every expectation i had; a first for the last 15 different ones ive purchased in here in less than a year! (Im picky)... Just great; stable, firm, perfect consistent quality key response and is fully customizable; so much so that Id only used about ten settings or so before it was showtime. Havent had to adjust a single thing in at least a month and counting. You folks have a new lifelong customer!!

The reviews are true. Read them very closely. The paint on the keycaps will eventually peel and as far as I know there is no way of getting replacements. I love the design of the keyboard and the Titan switches feel buttery smooth but just the bad design of the keycaps was enough to drop the rating on this one. You can replace the keycaps with a generic pbt keycap but that would ruin the look of the board. Sorry Roccat but this one was a flop

Nice keyboard, lights are bright and lots of cool options for light movement

This keyboard feels great. Those Titan switches are the real highlight here you can really tell that travel distance is shorter than normal. My favorite keyboard Ive ever owned colors are phenomenal. Also the little wrist rest is a nice extra touch. Worth the price!

I bought about 30 keyboards recently -- from high end mechanical to gaming to cheap -- and I found this one to be the best of all the gaming ones. The typing experience feels and sounds great, and the switches also have quick response and are good for gaming. The board looks beautiful. The way the keycaps dont go all the way down really works. One downside is the lighting software only works on Windows and must be running while youre using the keyboard to use any except one of 4 preset modes (no luck if youre running macOS or Linux). The volume wheel and media keys are exactly what youd expect. Board build quality seems great. Feels totally solid. No deck flex. Looks great, and great to use. Also, its pretty quiet compared to most mechanical keyboards.
