Received my nest blocks a day earlier than expected. They were easy to trim to fit my nesting boxes. Easy to clean. Chickens started laying eggs in them the same day.

These nest box liners are so easy to use, are very economical and make it so easy to clean the nest box. Ive had occasional problems with a hen pecking eggs which makes a mess of the nest box but using these liners is no fuss. The paper on the base keeps moisture from getting to the wood below so clean up is just a matter of changing pads no major clean up necessary. You can fluff the straw up if you want a softer base for a nest and its all biodegradable so they just go in the compost when done.

These things are absolutely awful. They dont fit my nesting boxes. My chickens dont like them. Theyre messy as all get out. Never again!

They are triple the thickness of Happy Heb brand that I used, and they are about 3” larger all around. My hens love them! Definitely worth the price.

My chickens prefer wood shavings. They throw these mats out of the boxes. And Then I started using chunks of the mats because I paid for them.... that works better. Less dust.... yes.

These liners have been working great so far, my hens like them; they dig into them a bit and fluff them up into a nest like shape. No cracked eggs since I started using them. The eggs come out nice and clean compared to using grass clippings/hay that I was using previously. I havent had them in long enough to attempt to clean them, only 2 weeks or so, but they have remained clean so far. I would recommend these, and plan to keep them stocked for when they eventually wear out / get dirty.
