    Greater than one week

We have our camper stored for the winter already because things get cold and wintery here really quickly. But this RV roof fan is absolutely perfect for our camper. It can be used in the main living area or bathroom of our RV.

I liked that this is less than1/2 the cost of a Fantastic Fan. $199 at time of review. It comes with 6 speeds. (Really more than you need.) Great poor mans RV air-conditioning. Works both as inhaust and exhaust. My install replaces an unpowered vent so this is an upgrade. Lucky me, I can splice into a light switch 2 inches away! Build quality looks good. My old fan cracked immediately, this looks sturdier.

Ok so I don’t have a camper or RV. What I do have is an awful apartment that gets zero air circulation. I use solar power in here so I thought why not and got this fan to test. I installed it in my window using plywood to cover the last little bit of open space. I had hoped using this to suck out the air in here would pull in air through the other window. Let’s just say I am very happy I got this fan.

This fan was easy to install where our existing bathroom fan was. There are two wires, black and white and matched what our old fan was. The fan is relatively quiet and moves a lot of air. The reverse function is especially good for clearing out hot air when the trailer was closed up. There are five speeds to choose from. The two lowest speeds are incredibly quiet. Just make sure you seal around the new fan as soon as it’s installed.

Very quiet with 6 speeds, reversible and has LED light next to each speed setting. Love the fact it has an easily removable screen to clean but, could use a limit switch that shuts off fan when vent is closed.

The vent was very easy to install. Sealing the sides is something I have been more concerned about even though it did sit nice and flush. I used silicon and RV tape on top of it to ensure that it doesnt leak during a down pour. Overall the fan sounds quiet and it works like it should.

Shippings rapide.

This item was very easy to install, getting the previous one out was the hard part. Looks great, fits great! A great replacement part.

A very nice RV fan unit. This is way better than the noisy one speed on/off pushbutton fan that my travel trailer came with. Installation is easy and straight forward. The interior trim is tall enough to fit my 5 1/2 inch ceiling. Some models only have a 4 inch capability. Operation is straight forward and logical. The only issue I had was the lid was stiff and jerky when opening it. I sprayed some lube on the place where the arm lifts the lid and it smoothed out. The bug screen is heavy duty mesh and easy to remove to clean. The instruction manual is better than most I have read lately. I highly recommend this unit to add a fan or replace an existing one.

This is a nice vent upgrade if you need one. My old 2001 class A needed an upgrade from the yellowing vent that was there before. It was a bit of work getting the old one off with all the sealant that they used. That being said make sure you have sealant before you start this project or else your going to have a hole in your roof with potential leaks that will 100% happen.
