Greater than one weekDometic added a thermal fuse to their RV hot water tanks as a safety feature. Unfortunately they can fry now and then with no significant tank problem. Such as a strong gust of wind causing momentary flame path shifting. If it fries it shuts down all power to the water heater. Easy to replace. And you have spares.

> 3 dayI’m not sure stay any others are better, but I’m averaging 30 hours of hot water use before failure. Also, the female spade will need to be crimped.

> 3 dayWater heater stopped working on my first trip with brand new TT. Turns out it is a desing flaw on the new Dometic water heaters. This cutoff switch is right above the gas ignition. If you use the water heater alot with the gas on, it will trip. This fixed it... Good to keep a few of these in your TT tool bag. Also, I now only turn on the gas heat when needed and run electric most of the time. Seems to resolve the issue
