Excellent product! Cheap fix to what I thought was going to be a massive headache. I don’t know why Dometic hasn’t upgraded their thermal cutoff since it seems to be an issue.

Pretty sad when it comes to selecting and manufacturing standard terminals,for a standard Atwood/Dometic hot water heater,dont expect them to fit until you make the female connection BIGGER and the male terminal on your hot water heater SMALLER,so sad being every Atwood/Dometic RV heater are all the same size. Suggestion: TRY YOUR PRODUCT BEFORE YOU SELL IT,its not that hard folks.

I’m not sure stay any others are better, but I’m averaging 30 hours of hot water use before failure. Also, the female spade will need to be crimped.

The cutoff kit works exactly how it should but with a major flaw. The layout of the water heater puts this wire directly above the propane flame. This means that the flame to burn the propane also burns the wire in a short amount of time. Please cover it with heat protection
