I knew nothing about monitors and just wanted a reliable curved monitor for WFH. Had this for 1 month and its been a great investment.

I bought this monitor to use with my Lenovo X1 Carbon. I didnt want to keep my computer connected to the charger, so I bought a USB-C Hub (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X5KSBNJ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and used it to make all my connections. I power the hub using my cell phone charger and that is enough to power my laptop. The Hub is apparently not compatible with Lenovo due to the power draw issues, but I bypassed that with a charger since it has a thunderbolt connector. I read one of the Q and As that state that the speakers do not work unless you connect directly via HDMI and this is not true in my case. Time will tell regarding reliability but aside from the fact that the base required some elbow grease to attach it, I did not have any issues. The screw in the base of the stand was not difficult to tighten ether.

Purchased this monitor to replace two smaller ones (2 x 22 inches). This monitor easily provides enough screen space to cover the two monitors it replaced. Additionally, it frees up much desk space to rmove all the clutter.

The Monitor built-in speakers when used have rattle and scratchy sound that is hard to hear wording as used. Tried solving the problem with Samsung but they in return could not fix the problem. They in return sent me a new similar Samsung T550 27-inch curved monitor but I am still having the same issue with the speakers as the other one that I sent to their service dept. These monitors are in Mexico, they look good except for the issues with the speakers. The problem is a HDMI cable issue.

I use this monitor for general personal home use and it is perfect. The display is clear and the colors are brilliant. I was concerned by some of the more technical criticism of this monitor before I purchased it but after a couple of months using it I could not me more satisfied.

During the assembly process, the base seemed unstable!!! Although the instructions dont mention it, you need a screwdriver to tighten a screw thats located on the arm that is connecting to the circular base. Once this was fixed, everything is good :)

Large screen with visual quality.

Didnt purchase for gaming. Got it for my office. Love it and saved $50 by purchasing the opened box missing an HDMI cable. No cable no problem and otherwise perfect. Never shy away from the open box to save money...did before with several purchases and always great. If ever not great...hey its prime free returns cant lose.

The advertisement said the monitor had 5 watt speakers. The monitor had no speakers.
