I had bought an 860 or 870 QVO for my PlayStation 4 Pro, and now finally getting one nearly a year later for my laptop that currently has a 250 GB SSD. Looking forward to this. Had to format the hard drive to get my laptop to recognize it, through Disk Management. At the bottom, there is a Disk 1. I right clicked that and assigned a letter, formatted. Had to find something called System Image for my Windows 10 laptop, found it through Control Panel --> System and Security --> Backup and Restore. On the left-hand menu, there is a create system image. Thats what you need to do to clone your hard drive to a new, larger one for free.

I paid extra for the Samsung because reviewers said the migration software really helped. (I had a 110 gb SSD that was full, so I needed more space. So mine was a transfer of the operating system and other files from one SSD to this new one.) Once I found the migration download, it was surprisingly simple. Part of the problem was that Samsung doesnt label it as migration software; I believe its called Magician (Its been several weeks.). Once I backed up the drive and found the software, the transfer was so simple and quick I was doubtful I had done it correctly. But the computer booted right up, and all operations were faster. If youre considering upgrading an SSD, you cant got wrong with this one.

Bought this for a PlayStation 4 pro because the previous hard drive failed. This drive easily fits into the ps4 hard drive tray and lines up perfectly with the connection. It did give my ps4 pro a bit of a boost on the home menu screen. Game Applications load slightly quicker(maybe 5 seconds faster in some cases but not much more) and the Operating System seems to transition much smoother. A great purchase for 107 dollars and a no-fuss decently priced option for what is a good drive with good speeds.

Much better than the mechanical hard drive that came with my Dell Laptop. Speed is much better than mechanical.
