Greater than one weekI never had/used a solid state drive before but my iMacs hard drive crashed and I needed a replacement. Thank God I had time machine and could restore my mac. In any case, I am pleased with the performance so far and it should last longer and function better/faster than my old drive. Cost was good for the amount of storage. Im satisfied.

Greater than one weekI have been purchasing these units for Dell power edge server for clients that want faster drive on a budget. Dell will say your voiding the warranty so be carful. But I have never had an issue with any of that or with speed and longevity.

> 3 dayI replaced the 2.5 SATA 500GB hard drive in my 2012 MacBook Pro. Easy to replace. Don’t forget to take the set screws out of the old hard drive and put on the new one. 10 minutes to replace the H-D and about an hour for the Apple software uploads. iFixit website has a great tutorial to help you with this repair.

Greater than one weekNever had much to do with ssds. Needed to replace my main drive so i ordered this since they are so popular and i had an ssd there already. Had a little trouble cloning it and the samsung tools were useless on my system so i used Acronis. After two tries of cloning it started working. It was a little sluggish at first. But after a day or so it started working just fine so i am good.
