Replaced Windows 10 OS boot disk “C”. I only use Samsung SSD’s because the migration tool is so easy and reliable.

This specific drive arrived DOA. I purchased it a year ago and put it in my pc, but could never get it working. I finally needed the extra space so I took it out and tried to see what was going on. I tried different cables even installed in a different pc. confirmed dead by local computer store. Will stay away from this ssd from now on.

It works as advertised! Very is to set up and mount for a mini mac M1 2020. fast enough for me. For someone doing lots of read-write for photos etc... might want something faster, bigger. With that said, it works great for me.

Installing is no problem if you are mechanically inclined. Snapped right into place after removing what was needed to be removed. Google how to install. Used Samsung cloning software and then Samsung magician. Up and zooming. Very happy and pleased.

For general use and practical purposes, this was a great replacement for a laptop hard drive (old drive was a 5400rpm drive). Very fast comparatively, and large storage increase. Seems like a very good value for money.

this became my new video storage / B-roll drive and also for assetto corsa car files.

I tether it to my computers via a USB3 adaptor and can put it in my pocket and bring large video projects to my customers venues. 2T is a lot of content.

3 of the pins move freely on the SATA terminal, SSD didnt even work, tried on 2 computers Would expect much better quality from Samsung especially with an 800$ one...
