I just want people to know if they dont know alrady, this is just the unit. You have to buy the SATA power and data cords and the mounting bracket seperate. I love this thing, but I couldnt use it when I got it because I needed the additional units.

These drives have never failed me. Installed in my G7 Dell Gaming laptop

I installed this disk in a POS ( cash register ) system. it works great but migration software only allow you to copy one drive like drive C. it wont copy any other drives at the same time. my POS software is installed in drive A. so i tried using other migration software but it didnt work properly. I had to copy drive C by migration and make a partition afterwords and reinstall POS software.

when my 1TB drive died I decided to go larger. I had to have a friend help me to install the OS but all went well

The 250GB Samsung SSD (my OS drive) I bought 10 years ago still works with no problem, so I didnt hesitate to buy this 8TB when it was on sale. Fast and easy to install. The only downside is that this drive is expensive.

Processes things fast and games load quick. Only 1.71TB which is disappointing but I guess thats expected.
