Love this drive. Very fast and hopefully reliable

Around 530M/sec read speed which is Standard for mainstream SATA3 ssd, as for the write speed it is a little bit tricky, this SSD has a 6-78G dynamic cache for 2TB and above models, a 42G cache for capacity below 2TB, before the cache been filled up the write speed is about 500M/sec, again it is comparable to other mainstream TLC/MLC SATA3 SSD, however, once the cache been used up write speed decrese sharply to 160M/sec for 2TB and above models, which is still a tad faster than most 7200rpm HDDs, but for models have less capacity the write speed is ONLY 80M/sec which is FAR worse than HDD even at 5400rpm! To make things worse, it took VERY long time to release the cache, I copied 650G files from my 4TB ssd into this one, the cache filled up only few secs in, the speed down to 160M/sec and stayed there for the rest of the time, it took a bit more than 1 hour to finish the transfer and it never done releasing its cache during that time. BTW, if you use sumsungs tool kit bechmark the drive it will gave higher numbers which I found less accurate, according to it mine was 561M/sec read 531M/sec write.

Does not clone even with samsung magician or third party cloning software. No error code. Nothing. Just stop. No support.

This ssd is pretty fast, more focused on the speed of load times, playing the witcher 3, startup and loading screens are near non existent, 3-5 seconds to load right into the game, and fast traveling from place to place! Use this mainly as a back up for older games or single player games.

Super easy to set up just make sure you have your own SATA cord! Defiantly worth the money!

Ive purchased two of these drives and they were well worth every penny. Replaced a standard drive in my 3-year-old Dell with one of these drives and the performance improvement is very noticeable (as expected). Easy installation if you know what you are doing and have the correct tools to open your computer. Drive cloning software worked perfectly. You will need an external SATA cable if you are planning to copy your old drive to the new one. Cloned data, swapped drives and computer booted up like nothing had changed, just a lot faster. My Dell Inspiron had frustrated me from the beginning due to drive issues. It would always run very slowly for about 10 minutes after boot up and would show 100% disk utilization. I found a lot of folks complaining about this online with no good solution from Dell. Changing the drive solved that problem and probably extended the useful life of my laptop another couple of years.

I really like the speed of this drive.

Great SSD, although came with less storage than I thought (I know SSDs dont have exactly how much they say but this was like 60GB less than the 2TB it said)
