I use Hard Disk Sentinel to keep tabs on the performance of my disks, HD or SSD. After one year of use (6.77 tB lifetime writes) my Samsung 870 QVO 1tB is down to less than half the speed advertised when new. A clone to this disk takes 3 times as long as it does to a new SSD. The loss of speed is uniform across the disk, not limited to only certain areas. This slowdown would not be something most users would notice as they would a failure, but since speed is a major factor in a SSD, serious loss of speed over time is something to consider.

It is very fast. Worth to buy.

This is a great improvement over the old drive, load times are incredible and the 4TB memory is perfect, the drive I recieved has 3.8 TB. So almost 4TB. I highly recommend this to anyone upgrading their PS4.

After some time trying to figure this out this is what you need to know. Im sure already knew this but it would have been nice to know before purchasing the SSD.

This will add new life to a standard computer. It is way faster than a standard hdd. For me it was an easy transfer using free cloning software to move from my old mechanical hdd to this solid state. I should have done this sooner.

I installed this disk in a POS ( cash register ) system. it works great but migration software only allow you to copy one drive like drive C. it wont copy any other drives at the same time. my POS software is installed in drive A. so i tried using other migration software but it didnt work properly. I had to copy drive C by migration and make a partition afterwords and reinstall POS software.

I love all of Samsungs products so this might be biased but its a great storage drive in terms of value, read/write speed, and the Samsung Magician app is a free and high-quality drive diagnostic tool. Best value and excellent quality.

It is a good product. With the software data migration, I can transfer all the system and documents readily.
