> 3 dayGaming performance-wise, I didnt see much of an increase. Only difference in gaming I seen was loading into a game faster, but its kinda hard to tell since I wasnt having performance issues. Where it REALLY becomes noticeable is when my computer went from taking 10 minutes to completely reboot to dang near 10 seconds AND it transfers/downloads files much faster too! I wish I got one of these sooner...

> 3 dayI got the new Mac mini with the M1 chip, so there is no upgrading the storage of it. I got this and plugged it in, and left it plugged in. Now I have all the storage I need.

> 3 dayAlbeit, it runs a little warmer than the smaller capacity SSD I was replacing, the drive itself is great. However, the drive instructions refers to online software to clone the drive to replace an existing drive and other software to turbo-charge the drive. I never did get the cloning software to work - it kept crashing. There were some online fixes for this problem with this software, but they did not help. It would have been a major task to start from scratch to rebuilt my system on the new drive so I ended up purchasing a 3rd party cloning package which worked quite well to clone my old drive to the new drive. The software to enhance the features of the drive worked reasonably well but I use some very demanding video processing software which was slowed down excessively by the drive software. I ended up uninstalling the software for the drive (it is optional) and using the drive as per usual without it. Once done, my demanding software worked as before. Despite being a little disappointed I had to pay an additional $40 for the 3rd party cloning software to transfer my system to the new drive, I am generally happy with the drive.
