This product is perfect for the ps5 but the only question I ask is why is the version without the heat sink is so expensive. Heat sink version is 179, when the version without is almost 400. Heat sink is adding more material not less???

Ordered to replace failing SCSI SAS drive, didnt use it for that as teh expansion car was not seen. but used in other drive options and work great as most samsung items I purchase from any were, price was the moderate for this item.

I put my games on my PS5 back on the console from another SSD and it took about 20-25 minutes. Installed this one and transferred what was on the other SSD and 100 GB MORE. It took 5 minutes total!! Simply awesome!

Worked as intended

Luckily mine came with the latest firmware, so I didnt have to update it. I slapped it in my PS5, checked the speed, and got on with gaming. Even if you do have to update, the process isnt that hard. There are plenty of YouTube videos that will tell you what to do. But it seems like they are all shipping with the latest firmware now, so thats good. Buy one, or five!
