The only trick was sliding the cover off the PS5, which I watched a video to make sure I pulled in the correct direction to make sure I didnt break any tabs or anything. Other than that, its one screw to open the very obvious expansion port cover, then you pop the stick in and move another screw to hold it in place. Sony clearly intends for people to make this one simple surgery on their system; everything else is hidden from view behind other panels. When I turned the PS5 on, it recognized and formatted the new hard drive, and it had 1.01TB storage on it.

> 3 dayThis replaced a standard hdd. WOW. Boot time went from 45 seconds to under 15 seconds on my ASUS ROG laptop. Programs load fast too. I also added ram but this was the real speed up. If your computer can use this type of m.2 SSD, go for it.
