> 3 dayI went from running out of memory and having to load some of my games off of a hard disk drive to having plenty of memory and being able to load all of my games off of an SSD; leading to vastly improved load times that are usually incredibly quick. I never see textures still loading in after getting into a game anymore. In other words I got exactly what I wanted.

> 3 dayBought two 500GB drives for storage of programs, games, videos, pictures, and documents. For the price and the Samsung name, you cant go wrong. There are other brands out there that are just as fast, have more total TBW, and are just as good. So whatever you choose, you are going to get some blazing fast drives.

> 3 dayThe SSD works great. As I said on title the read speed, according to the PS5, is in the 5500MB/s so it is good enough but nowhere near the advertised 7000MB/s. Maybe that speed can be achieved on a PC? Who knows but it works fine. Combined with a heatsink now my PS5 has triple the storage capacity!

> 3 dayThe 2TB version of this SSD proved to be an excellent addition to my PS5 setup. Not only was it easy to set up, but it also provided much-needed storage space for my growing game library. Managing games has become a breeze, and I highly recommend this SSD to anyone looking to expand their consoles storage capacity.

18-12-2024I came from a SATA drive so I was amazed at how much read/write speed I gained. It is noticeable in games and even in windows. Magician and data conversion software from Samsung makes installing and monitoring the drive very easy. I caught a sale and got the heatsink 2 TB model for less than 200 USD. That is cheap for the upgrade I gained. I have used Samsung drives in my builds for the past 10 years and have had zero problems.

> 3 dayIve always used Samsung SSDs and Ive always been satisfied with their product - this is no exception. The SSD speed was shown as 6400 MB/s so thats something to consider if anyone wants to know. Decent product overall for this price.
