Comparing to the other portable SSD I have (Samsung T5, 1 TB), the SanDisk runs a bit hot even though Im not doing any read/write. This is probably because the rubberized case hinders heat transmission

Good SSD, fast writing speed and read speed, comes in very handy for on location work. I received the 500GB, Good value for money.

Very good product. But of late it disconnects frequently on my Mac book pro 2019. I have tried to change Apple and other cables too but problem is in the design. Very disappointed as I can return or exchange as the amazon 30 day window closed.
