I attempted to repartition it using Windows 10 on my ASUS FX505DV, but it would produce I/O errors, and power off and power back on randomly. I tried using it with no other USB devices plugged in and had the same issues. I will sadly have to return this one.

I used this Sandisk SSD to backup my Macbook laptop. Today when I plugged it into my laptop I got an error message saying it required too much USB power to support. After several attempts to get it to work by trying other ports on my laptop, the laptop stopped giving any notifications indicating it was plugged in. I tried the SSD on an older Macbook I have and also on a PC and neither responded to it. Fortunately, I wasnt in a situation where I had to recover data from the Sandisk SSD because my laptop had failed.

So much better than I expected. And, by that, I mean smaller. Its lightweight and easily fits into a pocket. I agree with other reviews that it would be better with an attached USB-C cable, but on the flip side, this gives more flexibility to use whatever cable you want, if you want something longer than the one thats included or if it gets damaged.

und hoffentlich auch langlebiger als die externen Festplatten mit rotierender Platte. Diese SSD ist so klein und flach, dass ich sie locker in das knappe Etui meines Notebooks geben kann und somit auch auf Reisen nicht nur alle meine Fotos und ein paar Videos - bisweilen will man ja Bekannten etwas zeigen - bei mir habe, sondern auch über die Möglichkeit verfüge, das System des Notebooks nach einem Crash wiederherzustellen.

Thought I was getting the deal of the decade, a warehouse deal that I could not refuse, some deal. Spent all afternoon working on adding data and editing that I had transferred from another computer and backing up data. Then I unplugged the device so that I could go for tea turned the computer off. Returned ten minuets later to find all data wiped how did that happen all that is left is a few jpegs nothing else all gone where is the dustbin.

Ne ho acquistato uno per mia figlia e una settimana dopo mi ha chiesto, come regalino di Natale, un secondo SSD portatile. La portabilità, la velocità di trasferimento dati, e anche leleganza ne fanno in special modo uno strumento apprezzato dea tutti ma in particolare dalle Signore. Non lasciatevelo sfuggire.
