Works direct or connected through Totu dock station MN TT-DC001A on USB-C. The SSD comes with a USB-A adapter if needed.

Ich habe die SSD bestellt weil ich ein Video mit FinalCur Pro X auf einem Mac geschnitten habe. Leider hatte der Mac zu wenig Speicher. Das FinalCut Projekt bzw. die Mediathek wurde durch das Rendern immer größer und größer. Also musste eine Lösung her um mit der Datei extern arbeiten zu können. Mit einer herkömmlichen Festplatte mit USB 3.0 (HDD) hatte ich es versucht. Aber eine Benutzung des Programms war so keinesfalls möglich. Alles war seeeeehr langsam. Also hatte ich dann diese externe SSD von SanDisk bestellt und bin vollkommen zufrieden. Sicherlich ist der Preis höher als bei herkömmlichen HDDs aber meines Erachtens gerechtfertigt. Auch in Anbetracht der Verarbeitung und Robustheit. Die SSD sieht gut aus und mit dem mitgelieferten USB-C zu USB-C Kabel + Adapter USB-C auf USB-A kann man sie überall anschließen.

The compact size makes this very portable but would not clip onto a backpack or bag. I bought this to go with my NVidia Shield but likely going to keep it on attached via one of my wireless routers instead so all PCs on my home network can access the files as well.

The drive comes pre-formated to exFAT. If you save a lot of small-size files in that file format, youre going to be wasting a LOT of space on the drive. I saved 85gbs of small size files on it, but thanks to exFAT that ended up using 250 gbs of space on the drive.
