17-12-2024I never actually used these because I decided to return for a bigger size, but I did begin the process of setting them to be mounted on a dual stand. The computer comes with its stand and that stand attaches to a bracket on the back of the computer. If you need to mount these, youll need the spacers provided but a different size screw. The spacers are needed to get around that bracket that hold the stand, otherwise it will push the backing of the monitor in and the hdmi ports will be sort of sunken in and not useful. I dont have a problem buying the slightly shorter screws, which I plan to do and still mount the larger screens I bought. But just an FYI on that, if you plan to mount, youll need to purchase the right length screw to use with the spacers. Ill update once I determine which size fits

> 3 dayThis is the least expensive monitor I could find on Amazon at the time I purchased that was this size. And it works great, so it deserves 4 stars. Its only 900p and requires a screwdriver to attach and detach the stand but that is fine for my purposes. And what are those purposes? Packing this in a suitcase or backpack to connect to a laptop while traveling as a second (extended) screen for office work productivity. 20 with a medium size bezel this thing is cheap, sturdy enough, light and compact enough to barely slide into my laptop backpack. So now I can take a second monitor on the road and know if the screen cracks, it is only like a hundred bucks and change. I tape cardboard rectangle to the screen to protect it. Compare to dedicated laptop portable monitors which are all 15.6 and cost 2X-4X as much, this feels like a bargain and a better option. Its less portable because bigger, but its not heavy and screen size is so important for my workflow that I feel it is definitely worth it. The only downside is you have to remember to pack the screwdriver (that comes with it) and dont forget the 2 screws to attach the stand--ideally it wouldnt have screws. All the inputs and buttons are on the back so you can also set it up leaning on some books or something leaving the stand at home. In my opinion, I wouldnt buy this for your home office or gaming because only 900p and 20 is too small.

20-12-2024For the price, I think its probably a pretty good monitor. I have been using it for about a week and havent really done anything with the settings buttons yet. They are on the back by the way, which makes it a little more difficult to make adjustments. I would say this though. If sound quality is important to you, I would look at something else because the speakers in this one leave a lot to be desired.

> 3 dayI got this monitor to help with my at-home workstation. It doesnt exactly put out the prettiest of pictures, but its not the worst, either. I havent used it for gaming, only for spreadsheets and the like, so I have no idea how it would hold up to games, but for my purposes, its a decent little monitor.

> 3 dayFor what I paid, the monitor will suffice. My expectations were mediocre and they were met. I wanted a screen to be used only for an output from my laptop via HDMI. Just any basic screen at a low cost that could do at least 1600x900. I was very happy to find an HDMI cable included. So many monitors do not include this, I ordered a cable from Amazon assuming this would be no different. Bonus point for not cutting this corner. My one complaint is that the viewing angle is very narrow. With only the slightest bit of angle, the screen becomes very yellowish. I thought at first that I needed to adjust color temperature or something, but figured out its because I wasnt looking at the screen at dead even 90 degree angle. Not a big deal for what I wanted, but if had to do over Id spend more and get the wide viewing angle version of this monitor.

> 3 dayFor how affordable this thing is, it does exactly the job I need it to do and honestly beyond. I need my monitor at eye height because of neck strain but my keyboard at hip level for the same reason (posture) and instead of becoming a contortionist I just figured itd be easier to get another monitor to hook up to via HDMI. My slightly more expensive -- but still on the cheaper side -- gaming monitor didnt come with internal speakers and its been a colossal pain to hook up my external speakers to it in order to get sound, so my mission this time was to find an AFFORDABLE yet-not-crap monitor for writing that would also allow me to listen to music through my laptop. No fuss, no extra wires. I love this little guy so much. Conveniently placed buttons on the side, all the hookups youll need, and it looks exactly like my computer monitor: no more, no less, which again is exactly what I wanted. I wont pretend that the sound isnt compressed, the speakers ARE small, so dont expect your bass to shake the roof off your house. But in terms of functionality, personality, affordability? This thing is AWESOME. Super easy on the wallet, cute, and does the job. Love it love it love it. <3

Greater than one weekIve had this monitor for over 4 years and its still running strong no issues. Its worked so well for me that when i bought my new 1440p main monitor, i went with sceptre again. Now, I wouldnt use this for a primary monitor as its not even 1080p, but for a secondary monitor for things like discord, spotify, podcasts, movies, etc. Its good enough.
