I ordered this monitor expecting it to work very well as a second monitor however I ended up returning it. The first thing I did was plug in my Xbox to this monitor and the graphics along with colors greatly decreased in quality. Knowing this I then plugged in my Amazon fire stick and put on Netflix but the audio quality was horrible. It was very easy to set up only needing to hook in the stand but the stand itself is very cheap plastic. The price point of around $80 I was expecting much more in both the audio and graphics department and got neither. The description of this product also feels misleading although correct now have using the monitor. In conclusion I would not recommend this monitor and would suggest looking for a higher quality more expensive monitor or different cheap monitor.

This computer monitor is good for students and small home business owners because it is simple to use. It has speaker at the back which makes the sound project backwards and inaudible but still manageable. The best part is that the price is right for someone on a budget. I bought it when my 5 year old HP monitor suddenly died after a power outage and I desperately needed a monitor to complete important task. I ordered it from amazon and had it delivered the same day which was very helpful and commendable service. The same day delivery with amazon prime, such a good deal!

I wasn’t sure about what monitor to buy and I was worried about the quality. Im really glad I bought this one. I actually bought two for my home office. They work great! No complaints here.

I love the size and appearance of this monitor the screen clarity is perfect. Only thing thats not super great about this is the audio. I will say youd have to get some speaker or input headphones if you want louder volume.

I wanted to use this as a small cable TV monitor in my shop, picture is great BUT the sound is not even as loud as my iPhone, AND there was no remote. I dont watch cable TV often -but when I do the sound from this Sceptre will suck butt. I ordered a proper TV monitor and will keep this as a backup for either of our desktop computers, otherwise Id be returning this pronto.

So, I went back and forth on ordering these. After reading many of the more technical reviews on Amazon (this is not going to be one of those) and checking the manufacturers website to compare both listings, I took a shot and ordered two of these monitors for my dual monitor setup. The confusing thing is that there appears to be a discrepancy within the Amazon listing. The image and the description on the listing shows what appears to be a monitor with an edgeless or frameless bezel, however the model number, E225W-19203R and the product details under the From the Manufactuer section of the Amazon listing reflect a monitor that clearly has a bezel. Comparing this to the manufacturers website, it shows that the E225W-19203R is in fact for the Business Pro Series monitor that does have a bezel. In other words, this monitor does not have an edgeless design. Many of the review images appear to show this monitor. However, when I ordered the monitors the model that I received were the E225W-19203RS which does IN FACT have an edgeless frame design, which is what I wanted. It is possible that since this Amazon listing was first created (shown as 2017), it has been subsequently updated to reflect the newer model, but certain errors still exist. Just note that if you are looking for the originally posted monitors, you may actually receive what I believe to be a newer design. Both monitor models are listed on the manufacturers website, but I could not find the E225W-19203RS anywhere on Amazon when searching for it specifically. All of that aside, Ive been using these for about two months and so far I am very satisfied with them. The only thing that I have an issue with is the placement of the VESA mounting holes, which are shifted toward the bottom of the monitor. When I attached them to my dual monitor arms, each bracket, which is made to accommodate both 75mm and 100 mm configurations, sticks out pretty far beneath the bottom of the monitor and is visible from the front. What I had to do was attach each monitor using only the top two holes in the monitor to the bottom two holes in the bracket. I figured that the monitors are so thin and light that they would be okay if each is mounted using only two holes and so far, so good. I will just have to be careful when moving the monitors around, but I dont do that very often. It would have been better if the VESA mounting location was more toward the center of the monitor.

Inexpensive but you’d never know it. Image clean and clear. If you want deep colors it’s not the best but for standard office applications and browsing it’s perfect. The colors are fine but just a little muted.

I have had two working now for about 2 months. The screen on the right totally went out with a bunch of colors all over, so I turned it off and back on and worked ever since. Not sure what happened but over all happy with them.

Ive owned this monitor for about three years now and I have no major complaints. The default settings have decent color and the overdrive and virtual sync functions have always worked pretty well. I noticed some screen tearing when the screen is scrolling downwards but it only has ever happened to me (noticeably) once a month or so. About a year ago, I got a MacBook which has an IPS display which made me realize how off some of the colors were, so I tuned it by eye. After tuning, the screen looked way more premium and the pixels were even a bit less noticeable. (These displays vary in quality so take these settings with a grain of salt and use lagom.nl to tune it to your preferred settings) Backlight: 66 Brightness: 47 Contrast: 41 Sharpness: 50 Red: 43 Green: 38 Blue: 49 Gamma: 1.8
