14-12-2024I got these cables for connecting a 2000W inverter to my 12V battery bank. Four gauge is actually a bit undersized if I’m drawing the maximum 2000W. But because this inverter is being used solely to provide backup power for running computer network equipment (e.g., router, switches, POE access points, etc.), the combine draw of all devices is nowhere near 2000W. I tested using these cables for over 30 minutes. The cables were still cool to the touch.

> 3 dayTheres not a whole lot that can be said about battery cables, I guess, but these are very nice, heavy-gauge (4 AWG) cables, with well-crimped terminals and heat-shrink tubing covering the crimped parts of the terminals. I got these to use for balancing a group of four 100AH LiFePO4 batteries which will be connected in series to power an electric garden tractor. Apparently the batteries are optimally supposed to be within .1 volts of each other, so after charging each up individually with a 12V charger Ill connect them together in series for a day or two to let them equalize. Hopefully this will do the trick!

> 3 dayI got these to replace the original battery cables that had frayed and were looking dangerous. I was surprised at how flexible these are. These are certainly an upgrade from the originals.

> 3 dayI was really happy to see the quality of these cables. Unlike may others, they are very flexible, have heavy duty shrink tubing and terminal ends that are completely sealed to not expose the cable. These are 3 of my pet peeves with many other cables. I install these cables in boats and need a well built cable to reduce the chance of corrosion.

> 3 dayGot these to do the big 3 upgrade to one of my classic cars. I upgraded to an internally regulated alternator. After this I added the red cable from the alternators output and the ground cable from the frame of the car to the engine block.

Greater than one weekThese are great heavy duty cable. Though just a foot long, these are perfect to run from a battery to a fuse block or starter. The silicone covers allow great flexibility and the lugs and shrink tube are neat and tight. Good product.

> 3 dayThis is a high-quality cable but a bit overpriced in my opinion. It’s around 50% more expensive than the non-silicone versions listed on Amazon. Unless you absolutely need the small bit of extra flexibility, I would opt for the lower-priced versions.

> 3 dayUsing for a portable power pack. 4 awg may be a little overkill but thats OK. Nice cables, sheathing is strong & durable. Cable ends are on tight and secure. Nice cables for keeping those electrons where they belong.
