I do music production as a hobby and have very large virtual instrument files. Loading almost 500 GB of libraries on to this drive was fast. It would usually take a couple hours or more on an HDD or an hour + on an SSD. This was something like 20 minutes for all the files.

The ssd is built to install easy into the ps5 expansion slot with the heat sink. Installation is easy. Search on YouTube you should have videos from both Seagate and Playstation.

This SSD is perfect for use as a C:Drive for people like me who use applications that require more space than a 120--250 GB SSD has.

I wanted this for my 3-year-old laptop, to expand my storage space. However, it wouldnt fit because this SSD has chips on both sides of the circuit board, while my old drive had them only on one side. (This was a Thinkpad X1 Carbon, Gen 2.) This looks like a great product - I look forward to having a computer that can use it.

Faulty Aorus 7000s was dying prematurely (67% is 9 months with only 70GB on it) replaced it with this, cloned the old drive onto this one and despite them both being rated for very similar read/write speeds, this one is just hauling ass. Boots up in like 2 seconds.

J’ai acheté ce SSD car il est compatible PlayStation 5. 6538Mo/s en lecture testé par la console, ce qui est un peu inférieur aux chiffres annoncés mais largement suffisant par rapport au minimum requis de 5500Mo/s recommandé par Sony. C’est un des plus chers, mais il est fournit avec un dissipateur qui remplit bien son rôle.
