I found this device very intuitive(for set up)and very useful one night I was playing and a storm hit and I lost power for a while I was worried I lost the memory of where I was in the game when power game back I turned the ps4 on to check and to my surprise I didn’t lose anything.

I got the product in 2017. Occasionally the product loses credibility with the PS4 and needs to be reset which is a bother. After about 9 months it broke and I got a replacement under 1 year warranty. It broke down in 2018 and I required a replacement; I never moved the product from its spot, it just died on me. In April of 2019, it broke again which triggered another warranty replacement. Finally in 2020, it broke 4 months outside the 1 year warranty. My advice would be the spend the extra 20 or so dollars on a warranty that last longer than the needed so youre not spending $100 on a replacement after a year.

My grandson was very happy with this item...he needed more storage on his PS4 and this was perfect!

Value for money? Great docking station can run $100-125 and a good 4TB HDD can go for $150. This combines the two while adding m.2 capability and a smooth interface. Id say the value is there for me. It cleans up my desk, turning my laptop into an awesome gaming station while also super easy to take with me since its only connect to power and one other cable.

This is a piece of garbage. Used for extended storage for a PS5. Worked for about a month. Garbage.
