Seagate (STGD2000100) Game Drive for PS4 Systems 2TB External Hard Drive Portable HDD – USB 3.0, Officially Licensed Product

I cant believe Seagate is able to actually market this as a Firecuda drive. This is NOT a Firecude drive! Firecuda drives are Hybrid mechanical drives with a fast SSD cache. I got this enclosure on sale for $118 and thought it would be a great deal since Hybrid drives are as expensive as SSDs now most of the time. Well I did a crystaldisk benchmark on my old 2TB firecuda hybrid drive and its 4 times as fast as this one. I added a picture, obviously the higher numbers are the ACTUAL Firecuda Drive. This is a basic Seagate Compute drive, I took it apart and its a drive that you can get on Amazon for $144. Dont buy this at full price and expect a Firecuda drive. Also Razer Chroma doesnt detect it at all. I cant believe its legal for Seagate to sell this marketing it as a Firecuda drive.

This product serves as purpose as an external storage for your PS4 its so easy to use just plug and play and format it to your PS4 and youre good to go

Does exactly what we need it to do. Seems there may be cheaper options out there but we got it quickly and that was important.

The sea gate is great I’ve had it for over 2 years now and never had an issue. Anyone who is having issues with this device it’s because of human error mostly like any computer you can’t just hit the off button and if you do you have to reboot the system which will eventually brake it. Before turning off PS4 u must turn off the device in your settings if you do this you will never have any problems and when not using leave it unplugged from your system.

It does exactly what it says, I have no regrets in my purchase! I can finally download as many games as I need, instead of previously about 2 or 3 (my ps4 is only 500 gb)
