Fantastically easy installation - literally pop off the cover protector and place firmly into expansion slot. Took about 2 minutes to open package and install - increasing my Xbox Series S from 512GB by another 1TB, so I now have all the storage I could ever want. And since it’s the official expansion slot designed tor Series X|S - you can make it your primary storage device in the settings menu and not lose any performance whatsoever, unlike hooking up a cheaper USB 3.0 hard drive. Trust me, just go with this. Worked like a charm. Beyond ecstatic about my new console, works like perfection & super easy to install in seconds.

I own a Ps5 as well, I wish the Sony solution was a great as Xboxs. This is super easy and convenient. A little pricy, but it WORKS! Just click and buy.

Gives you a whole other Xbox of room

Ive own a series X console since its release. I noticed that some games that were series x enhanced would not run at all if it wasnt stored on the actual console. Before I bought this, I had an external hard drive but series X enhanced games would not install onto. I will note that the external hard drive I have is pretty old. Anyway, I bought the expansion card more as I am probably going to need it later on rather than I am running out of space. I also bought this in order to have more series X enhanced games installed onto my console. All together, I have the storage of the console, the external hard drive, and the expansion card all plugged into my console. Keep in mind that I still have games on the external drive, they are just not enhanced. Physically, the card is alot smaller than I thought it was going to be. So much so that it threw my off guard, this isnt a bad thing and it isnt tiny but be prepared for that as well. Overall, although the price is a bit steep, I do believe that if you own a Series X you will need this expansion card eventually unless theres an alternative out that I am not aware of.

Works like it should just overpriced but you need it to play series x games off a external hard drive which basically that is what this is

I didnt know my XBox was almost filled up until I got this and plugged it in. When I went to move things, I was shocked at how much space the games were taking. This expansion is GREAT!
